When booking a photo shoot, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions below.
General
Story Photography has the intention to display everything on the website correctly and completely, no rights can be derived from the information placed on this website. Story Photography does not accept any liability for any damage as a result of the use of this site or the use of (image) information provided on this site. Story Photography cannot be held liable for material and/or immaterial damage during a photo session on location or in the studio. The photos on www.story-photography.com may only be used by the owner, Yana Nedelcheva. Visitors can view these photos, but do not have permission to use them in any way. By using the services of Story Photography in any way, you automatically agree to
these terms and conditions.
Copyright
The copyright of the photos is at all times with the photographer of Story Photography. The client gives the photographer permission to use the client's photographs for promotional purposes on the internet and in print. It is not permitted to place received digital files on the internet in an edit other than that provided by the photographer. Upon receipt of the digital photo files, the customer has the right to reproduce them for his own use. It is not allowed to use files for commercial or non-profit companies. Story Photography will keep the digital files resulting from the photo shoot for at least 3 months as a back-up.
Photoshoot
To make an appointment for a photo session, the photographer always sends a confirmation. The appointment is final only once the photographer has sent a confirmation. If the client does not agree with the terms and conditions, they will contact the photographer no later than one week before the photo shoot takes place. A Cake Smash Photoshoot, Maternity Photoshoot or Portrait Photoshoot takes an average of 1,5 hour. A Newborn Photoshoot takes an average of 3 hours. After the photo session, Story Photography makes small size images available with watermark in an online gallery. The photos will be posted in an online gallery within 2 weeks. After that, the digital photo files can be selected. For a photo session on location, travel costs of € 0.35 per kilometre will be charged outside Hamburg. If you are dissatisfied with something during a shoot or don't like something, you should tell the photographer immediately. That gives her the chance to do something else. Complaints about this afterwards will be considered unfounded. It is not allowed to make recordings or photograph with your own phone and/or camera during the reportage.
Photo Files
After a photo shoot digital JPEG files in High Resolution and without logo or watermark will be provided. Additional JPEG files can be ordered up to 3 months after the photo shoot for 10 euros per photo. It is not possible to receive the raw files and/or RAW files
Payment
For a Sitter Session, a deposit of 50% must be made after completing the booking form. A partial deposit applies to a Cake Smash photo shoot. With a Newborn Photo Shoot, you can pay by payment link after the photo session. Additional photo files or products ordered after the photo shoot must be paid for afterwards via a new payment link. Products, such as a preview and/or link to the gallery, will only be delivered once payment has been received. Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT and exclude travel expenses.
Gift Cards & Coupons
Discount coupons are not valid in combination with promotions / offers. Gift cards are only available at Story Photography and are valid for 1 year after the date of issue and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards cannot be returned. A gift card is non-transferable. Gift cards are valid for the photo session or products for which they were issued, as stated on the gift card.
Cancellation policy
In the event of illness, clients may reschedule their appointment at no additional cost, provided notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled photo shoot. If a client cancels a booked photo shoot, the photographer reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee amounting to 25% of the agreed total price. For newborn photo shoots, no costs will apply if the appointment cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances such as premature birth or health issues affecting the mother and/or baby. If Story Photography is unable to fulfill the appointment due to reasons such as illness, the session will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time without additional charges. Similarly, in the case of technical malfunctions preventing the appointment, Story Photography will reschedule free of charge and provide a 20% discount on the rescheduled session. These terms are subject to change and are intended to maintain a fair and professional relationship between the client and Story Photography.
Liability
Story Photography is not liable for any damage that has arisen for the other party. Unless there is gross negligence or intent on the part of the Photographer or persons engaged by the Photographer. The liability is in any case limited to the amount of the invoice, or, if and insofar as there is an insured damage, to the amount of the sum actually paid out under the insurance. Story Photography is not liable for color deviations or photo prints on products that have not been supplied by it. Story Photography is not liable for delivering less or less good photos than normal due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond the influence of the photographer. Think of children who do not cooperate, instructions that are not followed, weather conditions, and much more....
